Decades ago, there was a guy who hosted a wildlife TV show who became known for saying that this-and-such was edible. Then someone else famously poked fun at him, saying “you didn’t know that many parts of the Volkswagen are edible.” Alas, I can’t remember either guy’s name, nor is Google helping me.
No, the vegan would also say “tastes like chicken.” Vegans feel it’s immoral to eat animals, but many vegans don’t feel it’s immoral to eat food that mimics the flavor of animals.
