Anybody can criticize. I have yet to see a viable alternative plan other than bombing them and starting another decade long, trillion dollar war. I just wish we had a law that would draft the critics first and send them over there. The deal looks quite workable and our top nuclear scientist fully supports it. It has a decent chance of working and is surely better than another mideast war.

Just your opinion. I think he has been a really good president. He has accomplished a lot in the face of conservative mindless opposition. Just look at the cast of republican clown candidates.

Many love the deal. The guy who headed an org against the deal read it and resigned. 5 other countries like it too. Are they ALL MUSLIM! If we don’t approve it, they will. The sanctions will be dropped. We are not the kings of the world. They are 7 billion others out there that are NOT US!

Michael wme: Top-notch post, as usual. Thanks, in particular, for the NYT link. This all now makes sense. It is another example of “You don’t want to know how sausage is made.”

Bats, you just need to know that Michael specializes in satire. There are clues that what he writes is actually the opposite of what he thinks. Not Stephen Colbert quality (who is?), but not bad, either.

“Gee, we could keep sanctions in place?”No, we can’t. Despite Michaelwme’s comment up top, we don’t have the Iranian money, the Chinese, Japanese & Indians do. They back the agreement made with Iran & are in a hurry to get back to business as usual. They will not support us if we walk away from the deal.

“……Obammy’s already in discussions as one of the worst ever. Right there with your boy Jimbo Carter!…..”.Pointless to reason with an ideologue I know. But does not the nation being in severe economic freefall in 2008-09, then Obama and the Democrats taking over and the economy recovering mean anything? And that’s only pointing out one accomplishment; and ignoring that the Republican’s stated goal was to make Obama fail. How can people be so senseless as to malign success and cheer failure?

Ignorant much? It’s already been admitted to. Turn off MSNBC and join the real world.

The details of the agreement with Iran are totally unimportant. The only thing of any importance is to damage Obama!

Any agreement with any country is good for Obama and therefore horrible for America. Must be stopped!

@DagNabbitApparently, you have “statistics” that tell you what President Obama “cares” about. Perhaps you’ll share themwith us.

And, like @ConserveGov, I doubt that any amount of logical reasoning would convince you that President Obama has accomplished anything positive.

@DagNabbitThank you for your civil response! Now, do you oppose Obama’s Executive Actions? And, do you still believe Congress has some responsibility for fixing problems?
