The “religious right”, who are neither, can take tremendous lessons from this man who is a true Christian, who lived those values in every day of his life, but they won’t. (It would take them away from concentrating on their hate.)
As a “non-Christian” it is such few as Jimmie Carter who make me cling to the belief there may be some small hope for the majority to eventuallly “see the light”, instead of the dark they bring to the world, and their wars.

I wonder if the peace agreement between Egypt and Israel that was brokered by Carter will last. After all, it’s only been about 40 years.
