That’s why I don’t go to any of them. Just once, I would like have a PG, PG-13 and R rated movie go through a whole plot (pointless or not) without any coarse words in it.
Even my grandkids complain there’s nothing they want to risk for a first date. Kind of makes you wonder who the folks in Hollywood have in mind when they churn out this garbage.

With the exception of a few “theological terms outside a theological context” (as an old professor categorized profanity as distinct from scatology or obscenity), the language was generally “Sunday School”. The situations, plot lines, and often costumes (or lack thereof) was what brought on the code. Realism is not dependent on oral diarrhea.
