As a teen I had to clean my own room. Neither my mother nor my sister would go in there because of all the strange electronic equipment in there complete with wires and cable connecting them. This was back in the early 1960’s when electronic eq had glowing tubes with high voltage on them.

My parents never really bugged me about my room. I turned out prefering to be neat, It worked!
