It’s been a loooong day, and it’s not even lunch time yet. HOW will we ever last until dinner?

It’s those “dog eat Doug days of summer”.

Chloe’s list: Get main human (MH) up. Get pills stuffed down throat, giving her the look to show my obedience doesn’t mean my approval. Eat breakfast. Go out into yard with MH but refuse to do anything so that 2nd human (H2) has to walk me. Pick up items MH drops or asks for. Bring her something to throw. (repeat fetch requests as possible through day when there is no food, humans walking by, or other things that need to be checked into) Hope main human goes away so H2 can give me some corn flakes. Nap unless a rabbit sneezes, or other dire events occur, then bark. Help MH as required. Hope H2 is alone when he eats lunch so I get some. Make sure there’s nothing to bark at, then nap near MH until H2 (the one who isn’t vegetarian) starts supper. Hope MH isn’t in kitchen when H2 feeds me supper, so I get more extras. Nap wherever I can hear what all humans are up to. Repeat “the look” for bedtime pills and toothbrushing. Sleep. Repeat

But “Eat Doug himself” isn’t on the list.
