So the naive junior senator from Illinois is getting a big dose of reality, as are the millions of equally-naive Americans who fell for the vacuous campaign of “Hope and Change.” Just how IS that working out for them all?
Obama’s legacy was completed the minute he took the oath of office. America elected a “black” president, crowning the civil rights movement with victory. Sometimes all one has to be is a symbol. Nothing wrong with that.
One correction please: The word should be”oaf” of office.

Given Obama is probably the smartest man to occupy the White House since Johnson, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt any time. Especially given the GOP only offfered senile ham actors (the Alzheimer’s was already detectabble in 81, folks) or mentally deficit ex-drug abusers.
Are there really people who miss that congenital liar / alcoholic /.draft evader Bush and the incredibly evil Cheney? Uh, folks, Cheney OKAYED BP’s lapses in safety the Gulf is now paying for !

Just think where we would be if the Bush administration had continued for another year – we were doing so great under his watch.
But we’ll all get to find out if we elect Sarah next time.

c666,
That quotes thing is very convincing.
“What President Obama is for America is bigger than his puny mind and misguided soul.”
Now, let’s work on your grammar and syntax.
