To make my point, here is a perfect example of the kinds of chains they wear in Cuba. Why is there no liberal outrage over this? Why is any liberal covering for Obama when this goes on? I have to laugh, because the vast majority of liberals believe conservatives wage a “war on women,” and yet are strangely silent when these kinds of events go on. War on women my rear end.

They have more freedoms in Cuba now than Cruz or Rubio would grant them. Batista was such a “good guy”.

Open relations with Cuba WILL bring more freedoms, and a better economy, period.

trm: try a little research into Batista, who both Cruz and Rubio’s folks supported. (Like many of those Cubans in Florida today.)

Interesting the faux concern over human rights in Cuba when it is the American blockade and sanctions that are the greatest violation of human rights and welfare of the Cuban people. If conservatives and defenders of the former Cuba, when Cuba was a haven for pimps, gamblers, gangsters, and money launderers, are so concerned about the welfare of the Cuban people, then lift the sanctions and welcome them as a full member in the community of nations. Why does the U.S. get to decide how one country should choose its politics and form of government? The answer is that politics in southern Florida are an issue, and some in the U.S. fear a successful independent Cuba could provide a model for other Caribbean countries. There are many whose nose is still out of joint for the Cuban people taking back their country by force, much as America did in the War of Independence.
