I wonder who did get invited—and who the ambassador is.

Lamo implies that he should have been invited to the opening of the Cuban Embassy because on his Mexican heritage

The opening of Embassies is a governmental political affair. Lamo is not a member of the Mexican government in fact is not even Mexican citizen.

The US sided with a corrupt, violent Cuban government that kept the people in poverty so that the few could become rich (sound familiar).

To be fair, Rubio and Cruz both have Cuban ancestry. But cepa’s point is still off target. And does he think that Lalo actually literally expected to be invited? Sometimes I wonder if funny-bone atrophy might be a real medical condition.

I would love to travel to Cuba some day for a vacation but the Republicans will never normalize relations. They carry a grudge forever like the silly twits they are.
