    That was the first Cohen the Barbarian, but Sir Terry Pratchett’s Cohen was something special. He was about 90, but very very experienced at not dying… Fantastic character. Try the Last Hero.

    Hmm, two powerful warriors and a high level cleric, but the wizard and thief are weak. Not a well balanced party.

    I think the idea is that Jason and Marcus don’t have three other friends – they are each other’s only friend. So, they make a game of D&D for two. It’s not that far-fetched. People play single-player D&D all the time on the computer with games like Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights. I admire Jason’s and Marcus’ creativity in expressing their geekdom.

    I don’t know back in the day we would play a full party. It did not leave much room for roleplay but you do what you have to do to play.
