The difference is, the TV show-offs have innumerable takes to get the shot right, whereas Jimbo has to get it right on the first try. Television would only cheapen his talent.
I used to do that while making a pancake (English style for Shrove Tuesday) I’d toss it in the pan to cook both sides and then, to the delight of my kids, I’d do a big toss and catch it on a plate. More often than not, and to the even greater delight of my kids, it would land on my thumb. Hot! Hot! Ouch!
