Captive audience? Republicans/Fox “news” viewers crave someone like Trump. Trump has nothing to lose, except maybe money, which won’t bother him much. Nobody’s forcing Republicans to buoy Trump in hte polls.

The rest of the candidates are in a bind. Trump says what the base believes. Do they protest or not and how much?

And I notice the Fox “news” viewers who post here don’t complain much about Trump.

Lisa usually seems to be anti-Obama, anti-Democrat.I’m surprised that she’s putting the boot into Trump.

The electorate is yearning for someone who speaks and holds opinions without first poll testing. Look also at the popularity of Bernie Sanders.

There’s a fine line between being honest about you opinions and being hurtful and rude. Also misinformed.

I think he will continue shooting himself in the foot multiple times. What worries me is the voters who want to make him president. I can’t even imagine the trouble this impulsive, self promoter would cause this country. He would have a tantrum one day and start WWIII.

If the choice in the primary was between Trump or McCain, I’d vote for Trump.

It’s like the Right resents the times McCain briefly espoused sane or charitable sentiments the same way the Left resents how he walked almost every one of them back.

“What the Republicans should be worried about is alienating Trump so much he decides to run as a third party candidate.”Teddy Roosevelt ran under the “Bull Moose Party” banner. If Trump starts his own party, it could be the “Bull (ahem) Poop Party”.

Bernie Sanders is a sane politician, Donald Trump….. not so much!

Only the Republicans have Trump flying the campaign plane.

And, therein is the reason the other candidates are trying to avoid putting Trump in a corner.

Clearly, it’s easier to hop on the “Everybody says Trump said this” bandwagon than to do a bit of research…a very little bit. Remember Sheryl Atkinson? The reporter CBS fired for being a real reporter? Here’s what she said:

Oh yeah, and that lying sack of crap, McCain, who has sold out vets at every opportunity, isn’t a war hero. At best, a victim.

Trump says it as he sees it, just disturbing that he’s channeling George Lincoln Rockwell for what he sees.

Ulysses Grant was considered crude and vulgar, and was disliked by many fellow officers. When asked why he stood by Grant, Lincoln said “Because he fights.”

POW heroism notwithstanding, McCain is a political wuss.
