1) Publicly shared resources protected for everyone’s benefit doesn’t earn a profit.2) It gets in the way of Lisa’s predetermined narrative. California bad. Texas good.
How many people living in CA don’t know it’s expensive to live there? If it were any place else, the Cons would just say "Move. "In any case, I’m sure Lisa and her fellow millionaires will just use bottled air in their mansions and limos.
It’s usually about 30 cents more in Ca but right now it’s over 4.20 while national average is about 2.70.I know the liberals who control things there would like everybody to ride a bike 20 miles to work everyday, but it sounds like some price fixing going on.
Funny how when Bush was President the high gas prices were for his oil buddies. Now that gas prices are on average higher after 6 1/2 years of obama, it’s still the evil republicans. LOL!!
Gas prices were low in 2009 because of the Bush Recession. Of course, no one was driving. As for when are taxes high enough? The remedial class answer is when the country can support itself. Clinton’s were good, Eisenhower’s, better.
As gas taxes haven’t changed in a long time, yet oil companies change prices constantly, and quickly with driving seasons, by over a dollar a gallon in only weeks, has anyone on the right ever figured out it is the OIL COMPANIES that are increasing PROFITS that make that gas expensive, and not taxes? Nope.
“Brock Olee”- as I’ve noted before, a friend when I was in high school owned an oil company, wells, refinery, and stations; his comment at the time; “Owning an oil company is a license to print money.”, and that was when gas was under 30 cents a gallon.

One of the side benefits of the Iran deal will be lower gas prices. Another reason Republicans hate it.
