While I do indeed hope that Ma will be able to get the warden to understand the reality of this situation with Rufus, please do not forget the real victim here is our philosopher/scholar, Joel. He is still pent up in a “cage” without much hope at the moment. And, he is STILL being forced to refrain from his pipe as well. We must all keep his unjust suffering in mind as well. Prison can be hard on a person and change them. I hope that Joel is not scarred from this experience. He is too good of a soul.
