Hm. Is Tru(e) going to get the wake-up call this summer? It sure looks like it – he goes to passing camp and finds out football is a serious business, that other QBs don’t want to be friends ‘cause it’s a cutthroat business and if he gets a scholarship, someone else doesn’t?
They should change the name of the strip from Gil Thorp to Truman Standish. I wonder how many panels each has been in over the past year? Even allowing for Tru not being in the basketball story, it might be a close race.
