@Queen of America, please ignore that unpleasant person who complained about your posts. A similar thing happened to Linda Dean a few years ago. Someone complained about her cat pictures. More than 100 people all replied and told Linda how much we all enjoyed her posts. At that time the strip was fairly new and there were not as many posts as today. When Linda realised how much we all enjoyed her posts she continued with them and I think we all know how the comments have grown and progressed from that incident. There are many people, including myself, who do not comment very often, usually due to time constraints and living in different time zones. I know how upsetting it is when a nasty comment is directed directly to oneself. Now, if I see an offensive comment I just flag it and move one, best to ignore the trolls.

Not only do we all enjoy Queen’s posts, but without them I would not have Blue Kitty and Barney and would have missed out meeting 2 lovely people and the beautiful Valley of Fire this spring. My life has been enriched.

According to what I’ve read, they should start sitting on the rim of the nest some time next week. They’ll sit there for a day or two, get one last meal, then flap their little wings and leave.

I’ve told them to eat their bugs, drink their nectar, don’t steal of the birds bugs and just go out there and be the best little hummers they can.

Casper does this. It’s why people wanted to adopt him. But they didn’t want his sister and they had to be together. We took them both.

Ruby is out and eating!!! She even allowed me to pick her up and put her on the bed! And purred while I was petting her. I sent Queen a picture but not a very good one.

Currently 24C here in Barrie with a humidex of 29C, and going up to 27C with a humidex of 35C.Had a health scare yesterday, was at regular doctor’s appointment and started having chest pains, so he sent me across the street to emergency. Turns out it was just really really bad acid reflux.Then, this morning, I couldn’t find Yum Yum. Turns out she had sneaked out and was canoodling with the big neutered male who belongs to neighbour in front apartment. I told her Mommy was NOT amused by her sneaking out to canoodle. So, the little ingrate bit me.

Queen, I am extremely pleased that you will continue commenting and posting pics and updates. Don’t let the trolls get you down.

He is probably some lonely person who hates to see other people engaging in loving relationships with friends and family. “Strange Brew” is good today :-)

It was a little cooler this morn, so I finally got out to look at the garden,,,,,,oh my…..I fear for the tomatoes, they look burned to a crisp, the cherry tomato has tomatoes only on the side that gets aft. shade, the Swiss Chard and Kale bolted, saved some of the Chard leaves, but the flea beetles found the Kale. The radishes were as big as baseballs and I picked (pulled) all the red onions, The beans are reaching for the sky so I hope they will be all right. So disappointing. I’m going to leave the carrots in the ground for a while. On a brighter note, the plums are turning color, the blueberries are ready for a 2nd picking and the apples are beautiful, Actually ate one, a little tart, but good!Our little piece of heaven in a “back yard”!

Spent an hour today volunteering at the local shelter.Got to spent the whole time with four scared kittens.I got them to come out some. I spent the hour siting in a corner trying to get them to play.At one time i had all for behind me, hiding from me.Funny stuff.

All the posts and pictures are great! It looks like a missed some “action” here yesterday. I will have to go back and check this out. I don’t know what “Kitty Pinterest Annex” means but I love seeing all of the pictures even if they aren’t people pets. I have a folder where I save them to and go back and look at the captions and they crack me up!

Keep your fingers crossed that these last two little ones get forever homes this weekend because I have NINE babies coming on Tues. There are the (formerly sick/not sure if they will make it) kittens that Susan rescued a few weeks ago. There at two litters; 4 and 5 each.
