I don’t get it.
Or as a politically-connected judge supposedly once said, “I’m entitled to a jury of my peers. Ordinary people right off the street are NOT my peers!” This was in Cook County, IL, so it’s probably true.
Is that chicken a former running back with expensive Italian shoes?
I remember a character on some TV sitcom saying to another, “It’s OK (to kill my husband)—I’ve got enough money to get away with one murder.”
As apposed to pleading infamous?
My friend Walter Perković pled famous once. The judge added an extra 3 months.
