    Or as a politically-connected judge supposedly once said, “I’m entitled to a jury of my peers. Ordinary people right off the street are NOT my peers!” This was in Cook County, IL, so it’s probably true.

    My friend Walter Perković pled famous once. The judge added an extra 3 months.
