Sorry, Greece, but your ATM ran out of other people’s money.

@Beau NoboIf the rich are the 1%, and the poor 99%; the amount of taxes to be collected from the rich would be proportionally small. The problem that Greece is going through is that neither the rich or the other 99% weren’t paying their taxes. An investigation was done by the Greek government itself, and it was discovered that the majority of small businesses and self employed people fail to report their income and fail to pay their taxes. Which is one of the requirement the Germans demanded of them (change and enforce new tax laws), however, the new government refuses to intruduce these new laws.It all boils down as to where in the spectrum of crime life a person lives; while the conservatives usually limit themselves to greed and theft, the left and liberals expand the spectrum from greed and theft to protect and celebrate the crime and criminals. Anyone can see this, it’s happening everywhere in the world; in Chile the new socialist government campaigned under the banner of eliminating greed and lucre, and right at this moment the son of the very president has been caught red-handed with his hand in a very lucrative and illegal land deal. And his mother is bending over backward to protect him. I could go on and on. Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, Italy, and soon the US. All of them with failed or failing economies due to faulty economic polices and flagrant theft and crime. Sure they do give due charity to their voters, but that’s all it is “charity” not at any point do they give dignity. In all these countries not a single poor person or worker is actually represented by anyone, although the claim by the left and liberals is proclaimed every day and every time the big honcho gives a 6 hours speech. Wake up and smell the garbage.

The root of Greece’s problems are the IMF.The International Monetary Fund has a Long Record of going to “troubled” economies and offering to “Help”.Strangely enough, almost all of the countries that the IMF has “Helped” have found themselves with all the country’s Assets Sold Off to various International Corporations and the IMF waving Goodby as the country sinks into almost Permanent Bankruptcy..Also left out here is that Other Countries owe Greece almost as much as Greece owes them.BUT.The IMF has managed to Forbid Greece from Collection any of it’s International Debt “Until Greece pays of Greece’s Debt”..Kinda like telling someone:“You can’t cash your Paycheck until after you pay off your Bookie. Or, after he breaks your kneecaps.”.

Isn’t Greece still one of the few sources for natual sponges? Left wing isn’t the only recipient of all largess, there or here. Compare how much Lockheed Martin, one corporation soaks up compared to social programs covering millions of actual people.

Every nation that takes out a sovereign loan MUST pay it all back, this is a fundamental fact of International Law (just see how the French foreclosed on Mexico in 1862)..Clearly, there is no way Greece can be allowed to not pay every penny it owes (with penalties and interest)..https://www.stratfor.com/weekly/beyond-greek-impasse?utm_source=freelist-f&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Gweekly&utm_campaign=20150630&utm_content=readmoretext&mc_cid=cb02e5b4b7&mc_eid=e61b98804d
