In the only true Bible, the one I read angels are never said to fly , much less jump. There is no Heavenly Volleyball team as there would be not competition that could beat the Him team. Also there are no wings as they would get in the way of dunk shots. As for playing the Adversary, the tines of their forks would puncture the ball, as the heat radiating off their hot little hands would expand the ball to bursting. For a true biblical interpretation, read Aesop the Idiot, chapter2, verse 9. I had a friend who saw God in the 60s, Said he was far out

There is no one true bible or one true religion, it is all a matter of individual perspective. As George Carlin said, “Thou shalt keep thy religion to thyself!”

God created man. Man created religion.

Some men imagined god in their own image, so that they could claim the right to tell us what was real and not real and tell us what we must do.

Lewreader - Actually Joe never said angels did not fly - he said they do not have wings - Ref Revelation 8:13 - the word in some translations is “eagle”, but it is really the word angel. Usually you see words like ascending and descending and so people assume wings. I suspect more like levitation.

As Joe has said no people are ever described as having wings either. And let’s not get into halos.
