    There was a report that Scalia had been arrested trying to burn down the Supreme Court.

    Polls show that the majority supports gay marriage. Are you saying they’re lying?

    The sooner people get over their homophobia and live and let live, the sooner gays can just live their lives in peace and not march to draw attention to themselves and remind people that they exist, and they are discriminated against in a host of ways. (They can still be fired for being gay in some states.)As it happens, gender is on a spectrum, not a binary switch: like handedness, people can be “mostly straight” or “mostly gay.” The percentages are deceptive for that reason. A relatively small percentage (say, 2-5%) identify as gay, but a much higher percentage (as high as 35-40% in the US) report a sometime attraction to someone of the same sex. It’s more appropriate to say that most people are mostly straight.

    The country is crumbling by any means, your percentage is wrong, and even if the figure you assert is correct, it makes no difference to the cause of equality.

    Polls given by your Lib media to make it more bigger than it actually is. Ever hear of how they call on a majority of one demographic to expand an agenda? Lobs couldn’t make it if they reported the actual truth!

    @Sky-Soldier

    Only that they DON’T just keep it to themselves! When’s the last time you saw a nobody actor or athlete get massive media attention because they made an announcement that they’re straight? When’s the last time normal people held a parade that you can’t take your kids to because all the participants were scantily dressed and making out with each other? I should ask YOU why any “intelligent” humans would act that way and still wonder why we should care when gays act like that. Do what you want in private. Have at it! But when it’s pushed in our faces and forced upon the rest of us. You have no right to expect us to accept it!

    And you are Christian-phobic. Like I said, do what you want, have at it, but quit being so flaunting about it. You don’t see straight people doing what gays do. Read response to Sky-Soldier.

    “Why would any intelligent human really care what any other two humans are doing?”They find it icky. (tho it is fine if a male does it to a female)

    reassert decency & morality in our quickly crumbling country. .Sorry, but the First Amendment Guarantees us Freedom From Your Religion..I know that hurts, but, hey, YOU are the one who believes he’s supposed to Suffer for his Jesus..

    An interesting note on how gay & lesbian characters are not really taking over our TV screens. Just under 4% of characters are LGBT.http://www.glaad.org/whereweareontv14Many of the people complaining about how homosexuality is being thrust in their faces & shoved down their throats (snerk) never seem to have the same outrage for the hetero hijinks on TV, which seems to pose a greater threat to the morals of our tender youth.

    In any case, being gay is not just a matter of whom one sleeps with in private. As with any other aspect of life, black, white, straight, whatever, it influences every aspect of one’s life. It’s just rude to say, “Be like me in public and I’ll tolerate what you do in private.”

    Depends on the context, i think. If two people are trying to go to Syria in order to join ISIS/ISIL, then we should definitely be concerned because they might come back with terrorist training, combat experience and a desire to kill Americans. But if it’s two people going to the local courthouse to get a marriage license — even if they happen to have the same reproductive equipment below their belt buckle — then, yeah, that should be their business and their business alone.
