Haven’t heard the Dr. Demento show since 1982. I don’t think he had that theme song then.
I always thought it was a reference to Alice in Wonderland, but I guess Lewis Carroll would have gotten the character traits from somewhere.
My Dad used to drive Mercurys! Didn’t seem to have any negative effects on him…
