At this point, Republi-Cons are only using their opposition as a fund-raising point. They got no replacement and should be breathing a sigh of relief that millions didn’t lose their health coverage with them to blame.
Yes, warjoski; and it’s notable that the lines snapped on all 50+previous attempts. That Roberts and SCOTUS majority now point out that the INTENT AND PURPOSE of law passed by Congress is the basis of validity and Constitutionality in laws, not merely the clerical accuracy of linguistics, or less than perfect phrasing. Yes, other decisions over the centuries have hung on phrasing, but it IS in the end that intent and purposes. (Which is why much of the “Patriot Act” remains open to challenges, and portions should indeed still be rescinded upon review.)
Yes, I almost forgot that we were pleading for our govt not to give us healthcare because it would kill us. The compromise mess that the ACA bill is would be much improved if it were simply transformed into Medicare for all….but it was the cons that wouldn’t hear of it. So live with the mess until someone has the balls to fix it.
Anderson should now add “gay marriage” onto the whale. For the “con” reaction, just look to Huckabee:“I will not acquiesce to an imperial court any more than our Founders acquiesced to an imperial British monarch. We must resist and reject judicial tyranny, not retreat.”.So, he makes an outright call for sedition. Which, in the GOP, makes him a moderate.

My payment keeps rising for less protection. I’d rather quit and pay the fine. Oh excuse me, the tax I have to pay for nothing. Seems fair! :-(
