I wonder, before this, when the last MLB player batted cross-handed, if that has ever happened. Shows how little Mr. McPherson knows about baseball (to provides maximum plate coverage, your lead hand, the one closest to the pitcher, is on the bottom). This guy couldn’t hit anything below his waste (i.e., the top of the strike zone for some MLB umpires).
