Wow – a REAL radio – Could be as far back as the 30s or as recent as the 50s. When television first came in, the average TV set looked bout the same and had a 6 to 10 inch screen!
I have the old radio that my grandfather bought when my mom was a little girl. It doesn’t work any more but is a beautiful piece of furniture. Mom once told me she thought her father took the battery from the farm truck each night to power the radio and then replaced it in the truck each morning. This must have been sometime in the late ’20s or early ’30s.

“Kiss me, Darling!” Squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak…:I wouldn’t have thought that sound was a door.
