Must we ALL be reminded, we are heirs of the “One Drop Rule”? From “To Kill A Mockingbird”, a statement of the reality of ‘mixed-race’ folks in historic Anerica:

Perhaps I don’t understand the uproar…was she not doing her job ? Was she not forthright and energetic in her advocacy ? Have her former organization’s members been ‘pranked’ by their own enemies, from within or without ? Unless there is some malfeasance – y’all look like “Racists”.
DNA says we’re ALL “out of Africa”, originally. For a long time folks (like my mom) denied their native American ancestry- which rightfullly should be described as by tribe, as there’s a lot of diversity in the Americas, pre-European entry. Which, by the time Jackson threw the Cherockee off their lands, there was already a high degree of mixing in that trib of “European” blood.
What would be good is if we’d all identify as “human” and treat each other “humanely”.(even though that might in practice prove a BAD idea???)
Problem with Rachael Dolezal was the the deception within the deception. Check out her wedding pictures(2000), and her lawsuit against Howard University(2002). She was sure enough white when it suited her.
