Yep. You spend your days being told what to do by every manager, customer and authority figure. Then you retire, have nobody bossing you around — at most your wife, and she mostly tells you to please get out of her way and find something to do — and find yourself bored to tears because you have nothing to do all day.
I’ve been retired for 15 years. Anyone who can live on this planet and not see anything that needs to be done is so self-centered they deserve to be bored.
You know your bored when you look forward to doing the manure tour in the back yard after your pooch has made “deposits”. Not federally insured however.
