I like the new normal. I can delete my original comment then post a new comment that says the exact opposite.Just like in George Orwell “1984” book.

“A long long time ago, I could still remember how the music used to make me feel”

“I was a teenage broncing buck, with a pink carnation and a pickup truck. I knew I was outta luck, the day the music died”

In the late ‘60s I began dating a progressive-thinking college student. I had been what was called “gently reared”, which meant that anything that changed since Victoria was queen was pretty much wrong. Between my boyfriend and the ’60s in general, I remember one afternoon sitting in his car talking about something and feeling EXACTLY like Carmen — the Old Order was crumbling like brick streets in an earthquake, and weren’t NUTHIN bein’ put in its place. That’s what happens when you don’t know what you don’t know.

I know; nowadays, I’ll think of something I knew back in the Eighties or even early Nineties and say, “How did I know that? There were no computers, no Internet then.”
