That smell triggers an asthma attack in a friend with multiple chemical sensitivity. Any new car has to be aired out for several months before he can ride in it safely..I don’t have that problem, but I still think the stink of uncured plastic is obnoxious. Noxious, too.
The “New Car Smell” was originally the smell of Leather.Cars that don’t Have leather seats still get a nice Spritz from the “New Car Smell” station on the assembly line..
