My wife and I have “date night” once a week where we meet for dinner. That’s when we spend $40 for a meal that would cost less than $10 at home.
And it’s not like it’s about the convenience. My wife loves to cook, and she feels “cheated” out of the opportunity to do it this once a week.
That’s not a magic trick, just life as we know it. (I know, it’s a First World problem.)
