I guess they didn’t know there was a problem. They have been over drawing water from the aquifers for many decades. The Colorado river is completely consumed before it reaches the coast. I guess they shouldn’t worry about it though since climate change can’t be real.
They overpopulated in a desert. I am a native Californian. Because of extremist environmental groups, the near-extinct Delta smelt takes precedence on water over people. California has refused to build desalination plants. They get what they vote for. Just do not expect the rest of the states to bail out those idiots. California let firefighters die in a blaze because the helicopters were not allowed to take the water from a river because of environmental protection laws. California constantly puts it’s people at the bottom of the list. Unfortunately, food production affects us all. May the Democrat politicians out there rot in Blazes for eternity after what they have done to a once-beautiful state.
Like most with such strong opinion, she knows absolutely nothing about water use, California or elsewhere. She would need a big bag to hold the millions of ACRE FEET of water agriculture uses in California, and how they’ve exploited, and destroyed the resources, not just water.
The classic argument against saving species is of course based on total ignorance about any natural biological system, or the sciences (multiple) that prove global climate change is occurring, and IS the result of primarily human created change factors (multiple).
