Ever ask how much a pro football star makes per minute on the field? Baseball star? Basketball player? Louis Hamilton reportedly just signed a new contract for $50 million a year for three years, at least in his profession considerably more is at risk.
It’s interesting to me that so many “conservatives” condemn actors for making a lot of money, while praising those pay levels for athletes. It’s a point of interest perhaps how many of those actors have college degrees, and how few pro athletes did little more in college than play football under contract, er scholarships.
The point being, how many folks have educations that prepare them to be commenting public figures on issues? (btw: how many Americans, or football players – precentage wise – are as multi-lingual as you will find in Formula One drivers?)
