Just remember, for centuries it was the floods that kept Egypt alive and fed. The Aswan is changing that as silt no longer builds new soils for crops.
We’ve followed a path on water “control” for decades longer, and now the concern is that the floodwaters carry more Subarus than silt across the land, plus the oil, pesticides, gasoline, and well sewage and other “good stuff”..
