Uh Robb, isn’t this a little insensitive? Whitney, daughter, tub – get my drift?

“Marcy” is a character who sings Whitney Houston songs in the shower. Strips depicting such scenarios date back to 1990 Personally, I sing Sinatra. I apologize for any unintentional offense, especially to The Houston family.

    Strip closely resembles bathtub drowning.

Word has that Howard Stern is quitting as judge of AGT (which doesn’t matter to me). His replacement might be Simon Cowell, the show’s creator (which still doesn’t matter to me).

“Good grief! More PC police. Who cares about W.H. She’s dead!”^(me:) I don’t think you read my comment the same way I intended it. From my own words:

“…so even though the news of Whitney was a bit back, I wouldn’t think it was anything but a “coincidence” with today’s strip, even given the latest news about Bobbi Kristina…”

The purpose of my comment was actually just to express my own take, (and to try to reconcile my take with the thoughts of others), that today’s strip was just a “natural convention” of Marcy’s character (her “singing in the shower”) and to also express confidence that, to me, it was only an incidental thing, even with the recent news events (which is a part of “unforseen occurence”)….– But even more so, whether or not one is personally affected by either of these tragedies, it also doesn’t seem right to say: “Who cares?". It may be…just some “news”…. to some people, but it’s more than that to the Houston, Brown, Warwick (and other related) families….

shower does not equate to tub filled with water. Cleansing does not equate to drowning. Her happy life does not equate to Whitney’s misery filled life. Joe is no BB.
