Based on the reference, I thought this must a re-run of an old strip. Once again, I was wrong. Seriously dated joke. Have memory loss much, Bill?

This is a reference to the situation in the Clippers series where DeAndre Jordan was being fouled at every opportunity. There were times where he was simply walking up the court and a Rockets player would grab him. While it’s in the rule book (and we all know how the officials are sticklers for the rules, cough, cough) they can simply refuse to make the call or (again being sticklers for he rules) make it an intentional foul. Free throws would be followed by team taking the ball out o bounds.

I’d think you could measure the amount of clock elapsed after an NFL touchdown. You know, PAT, six minutes of commercials, kickoff, six more minutes of commercials…

The slowest thing on the planet is Tom Brady getting around to confessing (any decade now……..)

I always thought the way Hank Iba had his 1972 Olympic team play was the slowest thing on Earth!

    I figured they’d measure it in units of Yankees/Red Sox games…now THAT’S slooooooooow…

@sarah413From California much? Guess you closed your eyes every time Clippers player grabbed Dwight Howard or Josh Smith in the backcourt after the ball was inbounded? Still cryin’ after blowin’ that 3-1 lead, are we?
