About Red and Rover’s time, I had a friend whose Dad had his pilot’s license – one day he took all us kids (one by one) up in a little two-seater plane and flew us over the neighborhood. Highlight: barrel roll!
Flying these days is miserable at best! Even when we fly first class, it isn’t like it used to be; most of what makes flight miserable occurs before you board the plane, thanks to TSA BS!
My wife and I are considering a cross country train trip; maybe across Canada…

I’m sitting in the airport now. Flight’s delayed and leaving about the time we were supposed to land.
