She is sooooo fin ugly, it just makes me upset.-——————————————-If the art so upsets you, perhaps you should consider reading something else. You’ve already told us you don’t like Lynn’s Notes, so you aren’t here for the comments.—If I didn’t know better, I’d almost think you were Howtheduck with an alias.

This is when Lynn started to make Elly’s nose bigger. And other parts. Lynn said she thought it would be funnier.

A couple of questions:#1: Who owns this building that is to be condemned?#2: Isn’t the building a theatre? A town hall is a government building which is often the headquarters of the mayor and the town council, and where the residents convene for town meetings.

It’s the OLD town hall, not the current modern soul-less building where the mayor and coucil meet, but it’s probably still owned by the town, if it hasn’t been sold off to a developer.

Amen John. I’ve been calling the historical society that for years. Yes I do see the need for them in some cases in others well lets just says they earned the name hysterical society.

By all means, let’s be sure that every depiction of a woman adhere to a current Western heteronormative beauty ideal – if women who look more like the women one sees in the world are presented as heroines of their own lives, who knows WHAT might ensue?

    Lynn’s Notes:

Every time I moved to a new town, I got involved in projects which would improve things: flowers and signs to welcome visitors, painting an eyesore building on a main street corner, fixing up a church, cleaning up the cenotaph. Some of these things were successful and some were not, but along with other like-minded volunteers, I worked hard. After a few years, I stopped trying to improve things and became as complacent as everyone else. It seems to me that it’s the newcomers to town who see the flaws around their city and try to fix them. Long time residents just accept things the way they are and don’t seem to care any more. Hooray for the newcomers!

It’s an interesting use of the word “hysterical,” given its etymology.

There is nothing more important than historical preservation. Nothing. There will always be more people but once a historic building is gone, it is gone forever. This comic angers me because historic preservation is not a joking matter & John belittles Elly’s concern for it.

For all of you who wonder why Mike is always lazy, doing things that get him into trouble and being spitful and teasing his little sister, consider what his father is teaching him by all his snide remarks about his wife Elly, the mother of his children.
