    @TonyThey didn’t have flying cars, super powers, integrated circuits, video conferencing, excessive student debt, time travel, cute cat videos, Susan B. Anthony dollars, floppy discs, disco music, a cure for the common cold, world peace. I could go on if you’re having trouble sleeping.

    No space program and all that goes with it. GPS, satellite transmissions, no,cable TV, no,computers smaller than a large room. Got our first TV when I was six, and transistors were in the future. And a lot of other stuff.

    its easier to say what we DID have- a BW TV, a radio and a record player. There ya go. AND we were HAPPY!! OH, and a house phone you dialed and it was a party line.
