Spell-Chex rejects my own name. and the name of my Boston baseball team. I mean, we’re both used to being rejected but what am I to write? ME, the name, I call myself FAR, a long way to the Series.

This comic not only bothered me, I was bewitched and bewildered as well. Nice going ;)

Hi! My name is Moe Ron “Moe” Dopy. Did you notice how many mistakes there are in this comic?

When I was a schoolteacher in Topeka, I used to beat my kids about the head when they would mis-spell a word. Eventually, probably because of all the beatings, they couldn’t spell at all because of brain damage. My point is that I never have a point. I’m going to end up like Grampa Simpson.

Genius, Scott. I saw the first and said to myself, “Oh, Scott.” I saw the second and said to myself, “WTF?” I didn’t use the abbreviation. By the fourth one, I figured something was up. Nice and subtle.

@PossumPete: I had to work in Topeka for 3-4 weeks, you must have taught every single person I met there, and they all must have made some major speling mistakes in their time.

I am not grammar perfect, but I can spell well, and I have not read this strip before. I am glad that I read the entire comic or I might not have gotten the joke (and the knuckle rap). Basic instructions, indeed, for we nitpickers!
