The Dog Star is so frightened he doesn’t make a sound.Oh, wait, that’s the vacuum. Sorry. He’s barking up a storm.

My dog, back when I was a kid in the 60’s and 70’s, was a grade A character. Not only was he not afraid of the vacuum cleaner, but when it was run with the attachments, he would pester you until you vacuumed HIM. He absolutely loved it! He would turn from side to side so that you could run the vacuum all over him.

Actually, a perfect vacuum is non existing in the universe. Even in outer space there is always matter in the mix.

I can’t believe Rob hasn’t seen Spaceballs the Movie.

I remember an episode from original Star Trek “planet eater” that resembled a huge angry rock vacuum funnel bag in space.

One of our dogs wasn’t afraid of the loud vacuum cleaner, & chased me around like a border collie herding sheep.

we had a sweet dog from the pound who we thought had been abused. scared of brooms and umbrellas, among other things.

However, the folks who comment here, are far, far, from vacuums, and I sincerely thank them for it!These still remain my very best therapy!!

Mine was terrified by thunder and lightning too, Perfectly reasonable fear for any animal, in my estimation. That stuff will kill you. Sirens (police, fire, ambulance) didn’t seem to scare him, but he would sit and howl until they passed.

I believe it is a green crayon.
