I’m pretty square, I haven’t bought anything more outlandish than ridiculously expensive cable – which I’m about to let go.

What was the most outlandish thing you bought, ever?

No, but I painted a few for a friend.

The most outlandish thing we ever bought was a huge (6′×4′) ornate “French antique” mirror at an Estate Sale. For $600. which turned out to have come from Pier 1 and retailed for $150. I had insisted and I’ll never live that one down!
