    Depends on what you mean by “a lot,” Dad. Sell it for enough for a dinner at a local restaurant? Perhaps. Enough to make a car payment? Maybe, but don’t bet on it. Finance the kid’s college? Strongly doubt it.

    I still have 2 MLB baseballs signed by Ken Caminiti in the winter of ’96, after he won the NL MVP with San Diego. At the time, I thought those would be worth something someday. Now, not so much . . . RIP.

    Godfreydaniel: t wasn’t Al Capone’s vault; it was a vault (empty space within a structure) in a building Capone once used. This gave Rivera another switched definition: Credibility: a showbiz term meaning the ability to attract an audience. Vault had no more to do with a bank vault that his “credibility” did with the truth – and still doesn’t.
