this morning I saw a news item that following the gyrocopter’s breaching of White House warnings, they plan to raise the height of the fence by adding spikes! Duh! (current state of idiocy in D.C.)
With technology today, and the “lone nut” syndrome, like Timothy McVeigh fer instance?, while focusing on “failures” in security, any idea how many TRILLIONS of dollars it would take to end all threats? Don’t like NSA in your pants? Where do you think security actually begins? It’s called surveillance. But the thousands of private/corporate firms now contracted to do syping for the government, getting billions, are 100% right on all calls, and respect your privacy, correct?
I was surprised to read that the dope behind this was released on his own recognizance. Where do they think the phrase “going postal” came from? And were those letters he carries checked for poisons?
