Very punny, Petey! But don’t we have to read it to appreciate it? Alice can only hear it….

Patience, Alice. You’re not allowed to act like such a sociopath until you’re President of something.

When I was in c. eighth grade, a boy (whose surname started with the first two letters of “buckethead”) and I were kind of an item for awhile there. But this squirrely girl told him that I was referring to him as “Buckethead” behind his back, and he unfriended me. It was likely all for the good, because he grew up to be someone a little creepy. (I’m not claiming that I came out of this scenario smelling like a rose, either.)

Except that “unfriend” has become a synomym for “parted ways” , “broke up”, “no longer an item” etc. even to refer to RL postitive interpersonal relationships turning to apathy or even hostility. “Unfriend” is also a direct antonym to “like” if you’re around young people at all..Since the poster used the slightly antiquated term for a relationship as being “an item” I’d feel safe in saying said poster’s psudo-ex is probably over the age of 25 at which point it is safe to say they’ve “grown up” when refering to personality traits..

tldr: she’s just using modern lingo to say he didn’t like her afer that. You’re ASSuming that she’s “too young” but the poster could have just as easily picked up the lingo from teenaged offspring.
