Oh, the horrors!
No can do in Cali, anymore. Unless you are a licensed driving instructor. Can’t teach your own kid under 18.
for me the brake was the middle peddle. anyone remember clutches?
Don’t be silly on this toon we all remember clutches!
I started driving sitting in my father’s lap, in a 1954 Mercury Monterey. When my dad bought a new car, it was a 1958 Mercury with push buttons!
I thought it was a cool car, and had my first experiences behind the wheel in that Mercury, with my dad in the passenger seat.
The car was painted yellow, and turned out to be a real lemon! I guess the color was appropriate…
Would rather ride with any of my three daughters when they were teenagers than with my sister-in-law—‘white knuckle time’ even in the back seat ! !
Clutch is on the left. No wonder you just ran that red light.
I used to say it all the time: “Who needs a thrill ride, raise teenagers!” Happily ours turned out spectacularly, and so did our grand children.
I still loves my ‘02 Subie Outback. Now I find that they aren’t making stick anymore. I’ve always driven stick. I guess I’ll hang on to it for another year and see what happens. 8-( Oh, the new ones are too big IMHO…sigh
You think that’s scary. Try teaching an adult!
