    Before poly-synthetics, some glues were made from animals, usually large muscular animals like horses, but other animals were used too. The connective tissue is rendered to get collagen that is made into glue. Also hoof glue, made by rendering down hoofs, is an ancient glue. Bows have been found made with hoof glue that are 10,000 years old.- Your not-so-fun fact of the day.
