Don’t cartoonists still write, "With Apologies to — "? I wonder how many times the style of Bil Keane has been imitated?

Joan Rivers, whom I liked very much in her earlier days, had a good late night gig, but not enough viewers tuned in. Or, the network didn’t give her enough time to catch on. It was immature of Johnny to stop speaking to her ever again; after all, business IS business!

Wait a minute. The wonderful Samantha Bee is getting her own current-events show on TBS. Not chopped liver!http://variety.com/2015/tv/news/samantha-bee-of-daily-show-to-host-funny-current-events-show-on-tbs-1201447194/Also, Samantha and her husband Jason Jones are producing a comedy show based on their family vacations. (She’s not acting in it, he is, last I looked.)

Apparently, the first mistake was in allowing female editorial cartoonists ;-)

Maybe because it didn’t work out so well for Joan Rivers

Because Lisa Lampanelli would probably not make a family friendly late night host..though I wouldn’t mind seeing her have a go at it.

I wanted to see Jessica Williams take over from Jon Stewart. She certainly has the energy and great comedy versatility, but she’s only 25, so she may be a bit young.
