How kind, tolerant and forgiving of you, smasher. Very, very Christian-like. I’m so glad we have the light of your generosity and forbearance shining in our lives. Motes and timbers, though, motes and tmbers.

Well golly and gosh darn, Libsmasher is right.I mean, sure he hasn’t offered even ONE Bible passage to back up his claim. Sure the only ‘evidence’ he’s offered is his own say so.But if libsmasher says the Bible tells us Obama is Immoral, then it must be so, because…because…Uhhh, I’m sorry, what is it that makes YOU such a total authority on the Bible again?[]Or did you use the usual rightwing Chrisshun method of determining the truth?“Jeebus? If your holy Bible does NOT say that Barack Hussein Obama is immoral scum, turn this water into WINE!”

Unfortunately, Jesus would not recognize the “Christianity” being presented these days. DO NO HARM, all.

Look, I’m just a layman over here, I don’t pretend to be any kind of biblical scholar or expert on Christianity.[]Nonetheless, I think there’s something about Easter that a lot of people overlook. It’s what Jesus did, or rather DIDN’T do after He rose on the third day.[]He did NOT go looking for payback against the ones who had crucifed Him. He didn’t go after Pilate or any of the Roman soldiers who had scourged Him and then nailed Him to the cross. None of the Pharisees were punished, nor were any of the ones who had screamed ‘Crucify Him!’ when Pilate presented Jesus to the crowd in Jerusalem. Even Herod was left alone, ( although later on, the Lord gave him a particularly gruesome death in the Book of Acts )No, Jesus FORGAVE the people who tortured and then murdered Him.Just something to remember

But did He exhort His followers to HARM back?Nope, in the garden of Gethsemane he took Peter’s sword away and then healed the man he’d cut with it

Well, given that man creates gods in his own image, as long as men believe, then yes.

Varvel is uplifting when criticizing sin and unrighteousness, not just illustrating reverence toward the God of the Bible.-Jesus did not come to endorse sinning! He as God the Son joined in human flesh, the God-Man, sinless because his earthly father was not a son of Adam who introduced sin and the consequences of sin, eternal death, to all his descendants. Jesus’ Father is God the Father via God the Holy Spirit, making Jesus sinless, and He fulfilled the Mosaic Law completely. His death on the Cross paid for all our sins, and His resurrection and victory over death guaranteed eternal Life for every human choosing Faith in Jesus the Christ. There is no other Saviour in existence, it is Jesus or eternal death. How ashamed must be those who were given by God a working brain and heart with potential for loving God and others and a mind capable of not being fooled by Satan’s false myths; who rejected the only Saviour, Jesus, and must join Satan and all rebels against God in the Lake of Fire with No Exit. God patiently has waited 2,000 years for us to choose Jesus and Life, but time is running out. As the old highway signs used to say “Be Saved Today”…..

I can therefor see and judge what is a sinner. But I am also a Christian, I can and do judge you to be not a Christian, You want to be one? Stop judging me on what is and is not Christian till you to have acknowledge your sins and have God forgive you. You say you have not done that, I have the right to pray for your sins, that you may see the error in your ways, and how misguided your words are when you accuse another of not practicing what they preach.[]7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.[]You said it,I didn’t

As I have said before, and has been mentioned a few times by others here and elsewhere; ‘MAN CREATED GOD IN HIS OWN IMAGE!’ And holy sh*t what a mess it made.

Not only that, but as I recall, before this happened Pharaoh Ramses had ordered his soldiers to kill every 1st born JEWISH child.[]Incidentally, it wasn’t just the Israelites who were ‘passed over’. Anyone who smeared the posts and lentils of their doors with lamb’s blood was also spared.
