Yeah, it’s all the Republicans’ fault, while Democrats are (each and every one of them) knights in shining armor come to save us from ourselves. That was easy.
Right, the IRS is kept lean so those rich enough to evade will never be afford. Only those honest enough to work hard and file. Those with their ‘off shore’ accounts ought to be exiled with their ill gotten.
For years we paid our taxes with a check written to the “Infernal Revenue Service.” They cashed it, then wrote us a letter telling us they would charge us with a crime if we didn’t write the checks out to their proper name, because they were not the “Infernal Revenue Service.” We responded that we would charge them with fraud because they cashed a check that wasn’t them. Never heard from them again.
