So, cutting taxes used for road repair is good for the economy and creates jobs.

All the more reason for northern states to fund bridge and road repair instead of cutting that budget every year to avoid dreaded horrifying slight tax increases.

Infrastructure is a NATIONAL issue. Stop foreign aid and pump that money into our infrastructure.

Don’t worry. the Republican 2015 budget defunds healthcare, eliminates restraints on rising healthcare costs, cuts food stamps, Medicare and Medicaid, so there will be more people dying quicker, hence less traffic on the roads so you’ll be able to drive around the potholes. But defense will be well funded so it will all be okay in the end (of times when the climate destroys the US).

If you draw a box around the country and call that “Economy”, then repairs to broken windows, cars, or homes, only help to move money around within the economy. It is neither bad or good for the economy as a whole.

Broken Window economic stimulus.According to the theory, breaking more windows leads to a stimulated economy.

But not a more productive one.
