Mr. Cruz’s wife is a vice president of Goldman Sachs. I’m sure he’ll have a very well financed Super PAC.Money, media, and special interests will likely give us the worst the Democrats and Republicans have to offer.Sadly,C.

You can always tell who the republican/conservative/fascist/tea partier/bigots and racists fear: those who they attack most fervently. Along with their lapdogs at faux news, in the media, and including political “cartoonists”… Plus, don’t forget, it’s okay if a republican does it.

With conservatives positions against progressives, and therfore against progress itself, eventually the human race will end up back in the trees, throwing rocks at each other. WOW! What a future the conservatives wish for!!

On top of that, then the Christian conservatives dis the Muslims for living back in the thirteenth century!!

Cruz always looks like he’s already a Mort Drucker caricature.

It’s good to remember that if Cruz has his way and all those business strangling regulations are eliminated, there will eventually be ONE and one only communications company, ATT. It will own the internet alone.

By eventually, I mean it would take about five years, maybe ten, and it would begin immediately with ‘negotiated talks’ to merge with Verizon, followed by a cleanup of all the smaller companies.

This is the so-called ‘conservatives’ dream.

Not that Cruz is even eligible to be president, born a foreign citizen.

By announcing his candidacy at Baptist Liberty University, he is hoping to become the poster boy for the religious right. Good grief, this could set religion back to the dark ages!

Hello NG. It was my impression the fact that one of his parents was a born US citizen made him a US citizen. Is this incorrect?Curiously,C.

It’s amusing now that Rafael Cruz has announced, all the Republican/Fox “news” viewers who were birthers, have disappeared.

Not only have they disappeared, they were never even there in the first place. I guess no one on these boards ever claimed that Obama was not eligible to be president because he was ‘born in Kenya’.

And no one ever demanded to see his birth certificate, ‘cuz, you know, it didn’t really matter.

Willard the ChickenHawk’s chief fundraiser didn’t have ‘people on the ground’ investigating the birth certificate. And it wasn’t going to be huge. Huge!

And Willard never remarked that in Michigan that no one had asked for his birth certificate— to the cheers of the Republican crowd.

Nope, never happened. Never were any birthers.
